Who can use it
TWIICE has been tested with participants otherwise unable to walk 10m unassisted. In the latest clinical study to date, users were individuals with complete or incomplete spinal cord injury at level C5 or below, able to use forearm crutches. The device is intended for users between 1m60 and 1m90, up to 100kg. Other typical restrictions apply, such as bone mineral density above certain threshold and normal blood pressure.
Where to use it
TWIICE exoskeletons have been tested on numerous terrains and situations, including stairs, slopes, outdoors, etc. TWIICE Rise, the first commercially available product, can step over obstacles up to 10 cm in height, and on slopes up to 15%. It will be approved for stepping up and down a single step or a curb, but not yet for stair climbing. [1]
