A lot is also happening in the field of rehabilitation/neurorehabilitation and in this chapter we would like to give you an overview of various technologies that are currently available as well as some that are under development.

To relieve therapists and patients while training, as well as to improve the mobility of patients and their health, robotics-assisted therapies are already playing an important role in rehabilitation and further therapies. From our point of view, the potential is enormous and it is worthwhile to use these technologies as patients and therapists and to help to advance their development. It is a helpful tool for the treatment of people with spinal cord injuries and will help people to experience more freedom of movement and joy in everyday life.
